A SMALL BEGINNING

On 7 November 2021, Mount Zion Chapel began in Bowling Green with eleven people and a desire to share the love of Jesus.

Today, that purpose continues: to know Jesus, share His love with others and make disciples, building a firm biblical foundation for the next generation and a welcoming home for all ages. We are committed to a continuous life of holiness.

We are a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Our vision is to carry the gospel beyond our walls to the ends of the earth, and to reflect the diverse beauty of God’s kingdom in all our neighborhoods.

Pastor Helen Modupe Famakinwa

We are so glad you are here. Whether you are visiting for the first time or looking for a home church, you are a vital part of God’s plan, and we pray you feel His love, warmth and peace with us. Our church is a house of prayer for all nations, and your presence is not an accident but a divine appointment.

Pastor Helen leads our weekly Bible study, prophetic prayers and Sunday services. She also runs our monthly food pantry, sharing free foodstuffs, fresh produce and baked goods with the community on the third Friday. She is known for compassionate mentorship, a family-centered approach and a deep commitment to prayer and kindness.
